Speed Stack

Hatstand Circus provided 30 jugglers around the country for the launch of this game - we trained them up on the equipment at our space in Westferry, Docklands - the promotion was a great success.

A Grelha - Docklands

Gastro Pub Portuguese Barbecue. Hatstand Circus provided the artists for the press launch of this new terrace bar and barbecue - two top Portuguese musicians, a sea creature juggling with pearl balls and a mermaid reading tarot cards.

The Gun, Docklands, London

Hatstand Circus designed the entertainment for their party to open and launch the venue's new terrace. The Management took Hatstand Circus's advice to theme the party quite substantially around 1805 and Nelson.

We had Nelson and Emma costume walkabout characters, Fire jugglers dressed as Hussar Officers, Showgirl stilt dancers, a stone Nelson human statue, a Vanity Fair style contortionist and a exotic belly dancer to round things off. We programmed entertainment every 20 minutes or so for the first 2/3 hours until the party had generated it's own momentum.

The event was a great success - here is a quote from the owner.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Premiere Party, Billingsgate Market, London

The Land of Sweets stilt troupe provided movement, colour and wow factor in the space as the celebrity guests came in. We also had Sugar Fairies making extravagant balloon hats.

Harrods, Knightsbridge, London - Santa's arrival

Hatstand Circus provided their Kingdom of Ice characters to entertain the crowd mix and mingle/walkabout - we had Ice Creatures juggling snowballs and balls of ice, Snow Storm ribbon dancers, Ice Angel stilt dancers, The Ice King - high status stilt character, Ice Creatures balloon modelling. Providing a team of co-ordinated performers appealed to the client and gave a professional and stylish look to the event.

National Autism Day, Leicester Square, London

We provided bright and colourful stilt dancers - the Land of Sweets Stilt troupe, Sugar Fairy balloon modellers, Carnival Jugglers. It was great to perform our acts in a major London square. The bright colours, movement and complicated mathematical juggling patterns appealed to the organisers.

Bicester Designer Outlet Village

Hatstand Circus provided bright and colourful acts for their 10th Birthday Party Celebrations in May 2006. Acts included the Land of Sweets Stilt Troupe, Sugar Fairy balloon modellers, and Carnival Jugglers.

1930's Barkers Ball - Sheffield City Hall

Hatstand Circus provided Art Deco statues that glided through the drinks reception and acts on the dance floor interspersed between courses - Charleston and Josephine Baker style dancers and to finish a dance by Fred and Ginger dancealikes.

Ikea - Store Opening - North London

Hatstand Circus provided fire and glow performers for the midnight opening. We also provided bright and colourful stilt dancers and jugglers for the first two weeks to welcome the new customers.

Arabian Nights Show - Private Party - Amadeus Centre, Little Venice, London

We provided two belly dance stilt characters for meet and greet on the door to help set the theme, indicate the entrance and provide wow factor as people arrived. We then produced a high impact, fast moving show for 30 minutes with a Compere, exotic belly dancer, magician with magic carpet illusion, Arabic contortionist, and a high impact sword swallowing act.

Halloween Festival of Mischief, Manchester City Centre

Hatstand Circus provided The Rook - big black bird stilt character, two fire tigresses - fire eating and dance with fire claws and the voodoo doctor stilt character and fire act.

Gordon Brown's Pre-Budget Speech - BBC Live Political Broadcasts

When the Assistant Editor of BBC Live Political Broadcasts wanted to liven up the outside broadcast, she rang Hatstand Circus to provide acrobats, tight wire artists and comedy strongmen to illustrate the ups and downs of the budget. Shot from Papageno's restaurant in Covent Garden, we co-ordinated and choreographed the acrobats to produce a number of different slots throughout the day.
